description
The literature review found 18 studies of the impacts of dancing on older adult health. Analyses of these showed “Grade B” evidence that older adults can significantly improve their aerobic power, lower body muscle endurance, strength and flexibility, balance, and gait through dance. Other benefits are possible but require further research for rigorous documentation.
