The overall objective of this report is to examine the work of Age & Opportunity within an international context, and to explore its various impacts on age and ageing in Ireland today. The report provides a concise summary of some of the key findings arising from research in areas relevant to the work of Age & Opportunity, specifically in regard to the promotion of greater participation by older people in physical activity, the arts, politics, advocacy and peer-led community and voluntary activity.
